.Check Out Our New Pictures and Virtual Tour, Just Added!

Duchess Nina have nursing staff on duty 24/7 making it perfect for those needing nursing care now or for those who may need it in the future.

Hamilton is close to Duchess Nina with amazing views over the South Lanarkshire countryside, from the Campsies to the Pentland Hills, viewed especially from the dining and lounge area with large windows providing lots of natural light.

The Home, itself, dates back to the 1800's and gets its name from Nina Douglas-Hamilton, Duchess of Hamilton (1878-1951). The Duchess was a co-founder in 1903 of the Animal defence and Anti-Vivisection Society. The Duchess Nina Institute, in the village of Quarter, was a gift to the villagers by the Duke and Duchess of Hamilton and was formally opened on 24th September 1910.

As a small care home we are ideal for those who like to have their own space but also enjoy the company of others while having help close at hand.

We provide care that caters to each person as an individual recognising that everyone has different needs.

When rooms are available, we accept residents for periods of short respite. Join us for a break from your regular routine and be pampered for a while.

Why not pay us a visit for a cup of tea and a chat?

We look forward to hearing from you.
